As the World Prayer Assembly begins to wind down, this morning's opening session was divided into regions from around world. I was privileged to facilitate the North American gathering. About 75 prayer leaders from Mexico, Canada, and the United States shared and prayed together for 90 minutes. There were two main questions we discussed prior to prayer:

1. What has God said to us during these days?

2. What is our next step? What is He calling us to do as a result?

We discussed those questions from both a personal level and a national and continental level in small groups. Then we prayed over those discussions in some powerful times of prayer. We closed that session with a Korean style time of prayer as we cried out for a new wave of prayer to come over North America.

Over and over again I heard the phrase, "I will never be the same again". I know that personally, I encountered the Lord repeatedly in worship and prayer and even in discussion with international friends. Perhaps more than any other time in my life, I felt that the Spirit was completely in charge of a gathering of God's people.
